Redox's Response to the Optum Cyber Event

During planned maintenance or downtime, system availability may deviate from normal, but message flow through Redox shouldn’t be impacted. In the rare case of disruption, most messages will queue and be delivered after downtime since we don’t manually pause queues during maintenance.

You shouldn’t need to do anything since a Redoxer is always on call during and after the maintenance window to make sure traffic flow is normal. But if needed, you can proactively monitor your queues after downtime.

Redox FHIR Sandbox Refresh Dec 1, 2025 08:00-16:00 CST

The Redox FHIR Sandbox will be refreshed to it's original state. Any unique data created by customers in the Sandbox environment over the past 6 months will be removed. Customers may continue to create unique data on seeded test patients once the refresh is completed.

Resolved - Latency has now resolved and traffic is flowing as expected.

Update - For most feeds we have seen resolved latency. We are continuing to monitor until we see latency fully resolved.

Monitoring - We have implemented a fix and seen that error rates have returned to nominal levels. The message latency is starting to decline. We are continuing to monitor until latency fully resolves.

Identified - We believe we have identified the root cause of the issue and are deploying a fix.

Investigating - We are seeing a number of increased errors with our API and delayed messages of up to 30 minutes. We are currently investigating the issue.

Resolved - Alerting continues to function as expected. We are reaching out to customers who may have missed emails who are still in an alerted state individually.

Monitoring - The secondary system's incident is resolved. All Customer Configured Alerts are back up and running. We are investigating possible impact for what alerts may not have been correctly emailed during the outage.

You can look at the Monitoring page on your dashboard to see an accurate current status of all customer configured alerts.

Investigating - A secondary system we use for our Customer Configured Alerts is currently experiencing an outage. This may result in missed alerts or some extra alerts. Being sent out. This only affects the Customer Configured Alerts not all our other alerting systems. We are monitoring the impact of this secondary system outage.
